Leaving on a Jet Plane

Carol is headed back to Gonzaga for a long weekend. Too bad I have to stay behind and do homework all weekend. Well...not all weekend...I will be watching football too!!

Leaves are Falling

So, it's fall here at our house and I just thought I would share a few pictures I took today in the courtyard outside our apartment. Enjoy!

All these leaves were on the big tree in the courtyard until last night. When the temperature dropped into the 20s the leaves gave up and fell off. Oh well...they look pretty on the ground too!

A Typical Evening

This is how we spend the evenings and weekends.............. Our living room littered with books and papers. Matt doesn't even notice his picture is being taken. He is completely in the zone..... the homework zone. If only I had amazing concentration like that........

An Overdue Halloween Post

This year Matt & I were lucky enough to be invited to two Halloween parties! One pre-Halloween party and one the night of Halloween. We decided to go as a magician and a white rabbit. I quickly found though that being a magician is no longer cool, and after visiting multiple stores in search of a magician cape and wand with no success, I decided to attempt to make a cape and wand. So this is my first attempt at being domestic in the sewing world.....

We were able to tear ourselves away from the homework for two nights of fun!! Thank you to our friends for hosting awesome Halloween parties!!
